Tina Maltman

Childminding UK is a registered charity that solely supports childminders and has recently achieved the Princess Royal Training Award for ‘ensuring high quality childcare through training and support’, the only early years organisation to achieve this. Childminding UK lobby to increase the profile of registered childminders, who are often ignored when it comes to childcare policy.

Maltman spent over a decade as a registered childminder before joining Northamptonshire Childminding Association (NCA) as a Development Worker, providing support and training for childminders in the county. When NCA lost all funding due to government cuts, she was instrumental in rebranding the organisation as Childminding UK and extending it’s work nationally.
