Elliot Burns is specialist project researcher at Urban Foresight, a multidisciplinary place-based innovation practice. From its offices in Newcastle and Dundee, Urban Foresight works with ambitious organisations around the world on projects that improve lives, protect the environment and boost local economies.
Elliot is an expert researcher in place-based design, regeneration and urban futures. He is passionate about the interactions between people and the environment, and the creation of policies that promote vibrant, healthy and community-driven outcomes.
He has a Master’s degree in International Relations from Durham University and extensive experience in researching socio-economic challenges and technical opportunities in their political and social contexts.
