David Jubb

Its purpose is to co-design ways for citizens to lead decision-making and shape the future. Its first project is to work with Trinity Arts, St Pauls Carnival and the West of England Combined Authority to enable a representative group of the west of England’s 1.2million citizens to shape a cultural plan for the region.

Since July 2020, David has also been an independent director of the Sortition Foundation, one of the world’s leading providers of sortition services, selecting random but representative groups of everyday citizens to join assemblies, commissioned by governments and public bodies all around the globe. Recent examples include the UK’s Climate Assembly and the Jersey Assisted Dying Citizens’ Jury. David previously worked in and around Battersea Arts Centre from 1999-2019.
